Blue Door Cafe has been created by Emma and Bryony Basden who are also the owners of Blue Door Barns and Blue Door Weddings.

The cafe is based at the beautiful Michelham Priory, a historic estate with Tudor mansion, seven acres of stunning gardens and Elizabethan barn, nestled in the heart of the Sussex countryside. Entry to Blue Door Cafe is free.

Opening a destination cafe came as a natural extension to the Blue Door brand; a distillation of the owners’ experience creating beautiful spaces and events, imbued with style and warm hospitality.

We work almost exclusively with local businesses as believe that supporting our local community and its economy wherever possible is vitally important.

EAT. DRINK. SHOP. RELAX.
